Zen Systems at SEACE Academy Amsterdam: SmartThings Pro 2 training

On 8 September 2026 we attended the SmartThings Pro 2 course at SEACE Academy in Amsterdam, Samsung Climate Solutions' European training center.

SmartThings Pro is Samsung's platform for managing HVAC systems across a whole portfolio. It provides remote monitoring, real-time alerts on faults or performance deviations, remote diagnostics and settings, routine-based automation, and energy-usage dashboards.

What matters to us is what happens after commissioning. A VRF or heat pump system has to be followed in operation, and service should act on data rather than assumptions. That is what we work on when we integrate HVAC into the building system: monitoring, automation and service that stay useful after handover.

The center has a training room, a showroom with indoor units in several mounting types, and a rooftop area with outdoor units installed. We came back with hands-on experience that we apply directly in our Samsung projects.
